When I delete an email, I want to automatically go to next unread message. I want to read my oldest email first and move up the newest emails. I have an iMac running El Capitan.

This does not sound like an issue with Firefox, but more of a query about your email service.

I recommend that you contact the support team for your email service provider. You can read more about this here.
