My Thunderbird has an option of including smiley faces, laughing faces, etc etc. It is located on the top right immediatley above the text of the message. Whenever I include them I have no idea if they're being delivered as emoticons or just the keys describing them. When my email gets a reply that includes my original email, they are only there as the keys describing them. When I open that email in my "sent" folder, it only shows the keys. When I send the email to myself as a test, it still only shows the keys. How can I make sure my Thunderbird email program is handling these correctly? Thank you.
