cannot open multiple tabs in firefox for windows 10 after the latest firefox update

after the latest firefox update earlier this week, i cannot open multiple tabs. when i try to do so it gets stuck in a loading visual but never actually loads. I don't want to re-install as i have a lot of bookmarks saved.

hi, this may be caused by the MEGA extension in case you have that installed. please disable/remove it and then restart firefox once...
