When I log on to websites requiring login and password details, such as my online banking, Firefox Quantum won't let me put in the login information and just hangs there indefinitely. The only way to get out of the site is to force a shut down with Alt Ctl del. I am using Windows 7 professional. and I deleted the Firefox directory in c:/Program Files after deleting Rev 56 and before loading Rev 57. I have subsequently deleted Quantum and have reloaded Firefox Rev 56 and it all works fine again. Seems there is some major issue?

hi, thanks for reporting this. could you go to the firefox menu ≡ > help ? > troubleshooting information, copy the contents of that page and paste them here into a reply on the forum (or if it's too long to fit into a reply through a site like https://pastebin.mozilla.org/ and provide the link here)?

this might give us a clue what is going on. thank you!
