Hello all, I've recently downloaded the new version of FF. It looks great BTW. Problem is, whenever I want to add a bookmark (favorite) to the bookmarks toolbar with active logins like - gmail/twitch/twitter etc, it won't save the bookmark. It will save any bookmark when I'm not logged in but this is really weird. What has changed and why can't I do this? Is there any way to add bookmarks with active logins to a toolbar? I might have to switch browsers if not :(

Hmm, that is very odd. As to bookmarking, it should not matter.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

@FredMcD,

yes it still occurs. If I drag and drop the website to the toolbar (what I always do) to add a bookmark, I can't place them on the toolbar. When I then close firefox, and then open again I see a bookmark but It doenst remember my login. And yes, I checked settings. Save passwords is ticked on.

How are you saving the bookmark?

Are you dragging the tab to the Bookmarks Toolbar?

Does it work to bookmark the tab if you click the star on the location/address bar?
