How do I get the Welcome to Firefox tab to stop coming up. I have tried to change the tab to yahoo.com then go to setting and choose use current tabs, no luck
I have a client that brought their computer in because firefox will not hold the webpages in the tabs. I continues to go back to the Welcome to Firefox page when starting up.

That means the homepage wasn't set or saved and or the install was corrupted during the install process where it doesn't recognize the new setting.
I uninstalled and reinstall Firefox twice. I changed the homepage several times. Is there a new way to save now, other than changing the homepage and closing?
We have set homepages in Firefox since Firefox allowed saving of tabs. I currently have 11 machines in my office that all are working fine. Just trouble with this one. Never seen anything like it.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to resolve this issue?
It appears that firefox is returning to the default settings after everytime it is closed. It will not hold the new changes. Any ideas?
You can check the home page setting.
- Options/Preferences -> General -> Startup: Home page
- https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-to-set-the-home-page
Firefox supports multiple home pages separated by '|' (pipe) symbols.
You can check for problems with preferences.
Delete possible user.js and numbered prefs-##.js files and rename/remove the prefs.js file to reset all prefs to the default value including prefs set via user.js and prefs that are no longer supported in current Firefox releases.
You can use the button on the "Help -> Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page to go to the current Firefox profile folder or use the about:profiles page.
