I use protonmail. When I try to use "Take a screenshot" and define the area that I want to focus on the box will not scroll down the page. The screenshot will scroll on duckduckgo.

I also noticed that the page up and page down buttons on my laptop don't work, but the mouse wheel does scroll up and down.

OS: Win 8.1 (all latest patches applied. No events) Hardware: HP Pavilion 17 Notebook PC

Two other thoughts if the standard mail layout somehow defeats Firefox Screenshot:

(1) Email sites often offer a link or button to pop up a cleaner print-optimized view of the message, and

(2) There are numerous screenshot add-ons that may use other techniques.

Hi, I have a protonmail mail account but never use it. Could it be part of the encryption security of the site ? Please check with them on that as solutions maybe a bit extreme.

It also could be Ghostery, pause it and try.

Hi, I noticed your Video Card Drivers and they are old driverDate: 8-19-2013 adapterDescription: AMD Radeon HD 7640G I tried identifying a url for you but can not figure out mobile/desktop/embedded so should go to the below and update and keep the drivers as getting close to EOL if not already. I get monthly updates for a desktop HD7970 so ya, really old drivers you have. https://support.amd.com/en-us/download

Hi Thout, considering your issue with the page up and page down buttons, I wonder where the focus is within the page. Is there anywhere you can click in the margin of the page that won't activate a link or button where you could be sure that Firefox was directing keyboard input to the main document body (whether it's the up and down arrows, or page up/page down)? That might also help with the scrolling selection problem.

to: jscher2000 Thank you. I must have not been in the body of the email. The pg up/dn buttons are functional. Still the same problem with Screenshot.

to: Pkshadow Thank you. I'm unsure why I'm not getting the driver updates from MSFT monthly updates. The only "updates" I deselect are the blatant Win10 promotionals. I'll use that link to update drivers.

Further data on screenshot: I tried protonmail screenshot again. The screen greyed. Then two messages appeared at the bottom right: "This isn't a standard web page. Screenshot won't work." Of course, I can't take a screenshot and post. But, I could take a traditional screenshot.

Also, I tried "Full Page" button. It also is limited to the current screen similar to prt sc.

I reloaded the page. This time no message about a non-standard web page. But, I till couldn't scroll. Just the current screen.

So, I went onto a banking site. I was able to scroll using the Take A Screenshot. So, it must be protonmail site. I'll try a amd driver update. If no difference I'll send a bug report to protonmail.

Print Option: This worked! Protonmail generates a second tab/web page. Take a Screenshot works fine scrolling.

If I get some time I'll pursue AMD errors.

Thanks all!
