I receive emails which contain pictures, not as an attachment. The pictures are not displayed. Only the frame is. In some cases if I double click in the frame, the content is displayed, as a separate internet page. How do I make it possible to see the pictures ? Adam Rom

Hi

I should be able to help you with this.

  1. Select the three bar icon, followed by Preferences and Preferences (again).
  2. Select Privacy from the left hand menu and under Mail Content, tick the box to Allow remote content in messages.

You can read more about remote content in messages (which is what I believe the issue you are having is) in this article.

I did what was suggested but I still do not see Maybe it has something to do with protection ?

Do you have View/Message Body as set to Original HTML? Simple HTML and Plain text do not show remote images.

It is set, and always was, to original HTML

There can be several reasons for the images not showing:

Do the images appear when viewed on the webmail site of your mail provider? If they don't, you might have to whitelist certain senders. Do you have any kind of security program scanning email? It's generally recommended to not allow AV programs to scan mail folders; that doesn't mean you need to disable real-time protection.
