Hellow everyone, I am new to the community but have used Firefox for a short time. My problem started I believe after a small update from Firefox about a week ago and is on both my Windows 10 Desktop and Laptops. When I now open my Norton vault the dropdown window it only displays the blank 158 entries with a gray circle to the left, and reports 0 vault entries indicated at the header block. If you then select the vault tab it is a similar story other than it reports on the header that there are 158 entries and the blank vault password boxes now have a blue circle. The vault sync window reports complete and I can see my complete Vault both on IE11 and from Norton Security. Have tried lots of reinstalls of Firefox and the the add-on extensions, even had Norton support chat help but still the same problem. Has there been anyone else with this problem and is there a fix or is the problem with my machines only ?l

As this is about a 3rd party program, you should also ask here; https://support.norton.com

Hi, Thanks for your reply. I have posted on Norton community and used Norton support chat line as you suggested. Neither of which has come up with a resolution. A Norton support chat agent said at one stage that it was down a Sync problem. My post on the Firefox community support was to see If anyone else is having this problem as searches do not indicate this. Its a shame that Norton do not seem to be able resolve this issue for me and I will have to move to IE11 to retain my vault details. Thanking you for suggestions, CitroenX

Any problems with Firefox Sync shouldn't affect any Password data which is saved in the Norton Password Manager. When the user isn't using a separate password manager extension or application the Firefox Login Data data (Passwords) would be saved inside of Firefox, and that data would be part of the data which is synchronized via Sync, if the user is using Sync. Sync cannot be 'connected' to 3rd party password data files.

In the event that the passwords information is lost, you should record all information in a separate text file somewhere else on your hard drive, or written down. You can easily copy and paste if you need to do so. If you are concerned about someone else looking at that file, you can compress it using a password.
