Firefox is constantly crashing on Windows 10
Firefox 66.0.3 is constantly crashing on Windows 10 64bit. It doesn't matter if I am actively doing something or if it is idle. The frustrating part is there is nothing in about:crashes to indicate why this is happening. I've tried reinstalling, refreshing, etc. to no avail. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated!

In the address bar, type about:crashes<enter>.
Note: If any reports do not have BP in front of the numbers/letters, click it to submit them.
The crash report is several pages of data. We need the report numbers to see the whole report.
Using your mouse, mark the most resent 7 - 10 Submitted crash reports, and copy them. Now go to the reply box and paste them in.

FredMcD, thanks for the input. Unfortunately, this does not give any clues since the only crashes listed are from 2018.
Please explain the problem in detail. What happens? What is the exact error messages?
Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link}
A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?
That's the problem - there are zero errors. Firefox will just close. It doesn't matter whether I am using it or it is sitting idle. I'll look up and it is no longer running.
I just started it in safe mode. Will report back to see if this helps diagnose the issue I am experiencing. Thanks for the feedback!

Run most or all of the listed malware scanners. Each works differently. If one program misses something, another may pick it up.
Start your Computer in safe mode with network support. Then start Firefox. Try Secure websites. Is the problem still there?

Firefox is crashing even in safe mode. I went through the Windows application logs and found the crashes. It was an exact match to a bug report filed 5 months ago. Here is a link - https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1509748

I called for more help.
A Google search suggest that the PayloadRestrictions.dll file is part of EMET, so you can try to remove Firefox from the ExploitGuard configuration. You can also try to contact Microsoft for support.
