Can't use signatures. It keeps telling me an account already exists! How can I add a signature?

I recently changed my accounts because I switched ISP's. When I tried to apply a signature, it gives me a dialog box which says "this account already exists. Please enter a different account". I need to know how I can get a signature added without specifying another account. Why would it say the account already exists if I'm only trying to add a signature? Cheers!

You must have two accounts with the same Account Name. When the error appears after you open Account Settings, type a character at the end of the highlighted box to give the account a distinct name.
