IMAP Recovery - Restore With Folders

more options

I accidentally deleted my IMAP mail account at my hoster. I was able to restore all the emails by basically* following this answer: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1160088 < Now, I got all my emails back but they are all located in the Inbox. Before, I had about 10 folders in which I organized my mails. Can I restore them in a way that I keep my previous folder structure?

  • The difference was that if I copied the IMAP folder into the Recovery.sdb folder nothing happened, I had to copy it into my created Recovery folder.

The folder structure is not on my main computer in the IMAP folder, there are just all mails in the Inbox folder as described above. I just realized that on my second computer the structure is there and can be copied & restored.

On the second computer some days are missing but I can merge the two backups manually. maybe the folder structure got deleted on the backup when I registered on the new email server.
