Firefox cannot sync between Windows and Linux/Mac
I have several devices which run different systems. Whenever I sync in Firefox, Linux Firefox always syncs with other Linux firefox or Mac Firefox. Windows systems would have another set of bookmarks and user data. My windows devices cannot sync with firefox on other systems. Here's part of my error-sync-1575631489638.txt

FredMcD and Matt is not using FAKE FireFox, the firefox.com.cn site is the Mozilla China site and is Official.
Don't believe me well see for example https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mozilla_China and "Bug 755826 - Redirect www.mozilla.org/zh-CN to firefox.com.cn"
Mozilla controls the *.mozilla.org/* domain so they would not be redirecting www.mozilla.org/zh-CN to firefox.com.cn if it was fake.

Ouch. It seems that I have been using a pirate Firefox on my Windows, which is downloaded from http://www.firefox.com.cn/ I would like to report this company!!!
Help us safeguard Mozilla’s trademarks by reporting misuse {web link}
For over a year, an epidemic of Fake Update Notices have been popping up all over the place. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/forum-response-i-found-fake-firefox-update
You may have ad/mal-ware. Further information can be found in this article; https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-caused-malware?cache=no
Run most or all of the listed malware scanners. Each works differently. If one program misses something, another may pick it up.
I have solved the problem. I have been using a pirate Firefox which is offered by http://www.firefox.com.cn/. This firefox uses a totally different server and account system. I have removed it from my system and reinstalled the official one. I was very angry about the FAKE one!!!
That was very good work. Well Done.
Have you reported them to the links I posted? Have you scanned for malware?

You can instead use www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/ as all languages including the two Chinese locales are listed there.
Thanks James! I figured everything out finally having read your answers. The firefox.com.cn uses a totally different syncing server from the official one, which caused my issue. I uninstalled the CN version and reinstall Firefox from mozilla.org, and everything of my account is back
