Trying to import contact list from Windows Vista LiveMail. Found instructions stating to use addon "MoreFunctionsForAddressBook", but it is not in the addon directory. Used link that was in directions and was taken to Kaosmos Website and latest release was for TB 14-59. I am using 68.6.0.

Please let me know what I am doing wrong? Really want to be able to upgrade and use TB.

The add-on is no longer in Mozilla's add-ons repository as you've found out. Download from other sources at your own risk. From Windows Live Mail, export your contacts in csv format, NOT vcf. This will give you a single, plain-text file ready for import into Tbird 68.6.0 without using any add-on.

MoreFunctionsForAddressBook for TB 60 and lower is still available, so if you import the vCards in TB 60, the contacts will be available after updating to 68. The CardBook add-on will also import multiple vCards, and is compatible with 68.

If you import a csv from WLM, it's recommended to first edit the csv in a spreadsheet to make it organized like the TB address book:

Thanks Stans - took your advice and was able to get the contacts transferred. Had some editing to do, but that is fine. Thanks for the help.

Sorry sfhowes, had already transferred list via Stans suggestion - Thanks

Really looking forward to getting used to TB.

You're welcome. You will love it, even though it does not have the looks of WLM.
