I mainly use firebox on Android but occasionally on the laptop.

Today my husband started to log into Firefox on the laptop but stopped when confronted with a warning that proceeding would result in his settings being merged with mine.

Does this mean that only one person can use Firefox on a laptop? If so it is very inconvenient

Firefox stores the profile in the user's directory, so if you use different user accounts, then both users will have their own profile, without any issue.
