Since the last update, when typing an en ail ... the To: window and Message window are fine, but when placing the cursor in "Subject, the program locks up and presents "not responding" message. Takes 7, 8. 9 tries to get a e-mail out successfully after closing and restarting the program.

What is your anti-virus software?

AV is Kaspersky, but:

1. I has never affected Firefox / Thunderbird before

2. The problem occurs regardless of whether AV loads. I have disabled Kasperky, rebooted, checked AV status (disabled) and problem still occurs.

Try to start Windows 10 in safe mode with networking enabled. Win8 start Windows in safe mode Win7 start Windows in safe mode

Still in Windows safe mode, start Thunderbird in safe mode. Does the problem go away?
