I had **two (2)** Firefox browsers. They both worked fine.

Each one had links to web pages that worked fine.

There was an automatic start last night - and only one browser returned. The browser had different bookmarks. (**All** of those bookmarks aren't useful.)

How do I get both Firefox browsers back after there is an automatic start?

Hi bkaras1, could you explain in more detail your setup from before the change? For example:

  • Two completely different editions of Firefox were installed, such as the regular release and the Developer Edition
  • One edition of Firefox was installed, and you had shortcuts to start Firefox in two specific profiles
  • Something else

Note: Sometimes after an updated, Windows starts up with slightly messed up permissions, preventing Firefox from accessing some files. If you haven't already, you could try doing a normal shutdown and restart of Windows and make sure you are starting up normally with your regular user identity.
