Inbox items seem to get "hidden" on closing. The "find" still gets them and says it is in the inbox. How do I get the inbox to keep the display until I move or delete the item? Thaanks

Check that you have View/Threads and View/Folders set to All, and that there are no Quick Filter Bar filters applied.
