How do I revert the latest version to the pre 89.0 look? Nothing annoys me more then when developers change the design or UI of a product and don't give users the option to customize or revert the design to something they have been using successfully for years. Tabs above the bar now? Blank backgrounds? This new design is NOT better for me, not more efficient and most certainly not easier on my eyes. You changed the menu layout making it more difficult to find the Customize button, added useless new icons to my toolbar. This just ruined my night, and I am most certainly not going to update the browser on my work computer. You're making me have to use Edge!

Chosen solution

That's not even close to a good solution. The option to have the tabs below the address bar should be part of the program.

Tabs have been above the address bar since Firefox 4. Your custom CSS to move the tabs to the bottom needs to be updated. This thread might help: https://support.mozilla.org/questions/1338147

Where are the blank backgrounds?

Menu layout is what it is, there's no feature to modify that.

To remove most buttons from the toolbar, you can right-click > Remove from Toolbar. However, that doesn't work inside the address bar. Are you having a problem with a button in the page actions area?
