How to revert to previous tab style after update to themes in Firefox June 3, 2021

Please help.

Apparently my Firefox had an automatic update yesterday. Now I am forced to use and/or select a Theme. All of the themes are basically the same (with different colors) in that there are no longer any lines dividing one tab from another (visually) and I can no longer just close a tab without moving to that tab. THe visual lack of definition between one tab and the next is very annoying, to put it mildly. I just want to go back to the way the tabs looked before this update. How can I do that please?

As a general comment, I'm fine with adding new options as to how tabs might appear -- but only if they are truly "options". I fee that it is a mistake to take away something that many users are comfortable with. And why would the only themes offered all be the same style? What happened to personal choice? I was looking for something like "classic appearance" to get to what I am used to but that doesn't seem to exist.

Help? Thank you.

I want to know about this too. I just had Firefox updated and now the tabs are thicker than it was before. Extra space ALL AROUND every single tab. I like my tabs thin as it was before the update. Now the tabs bar is extra thick for no reason. I don't need extra info shown in a tab. I opened those tabs. I know what the tabs are. I don't need a Twitch tab saying it's playing because I'm frigging watching it!

Same problem for me, this new theme is a terrible move. Sure it is sleek and visually neat, but practical and usable? Absolutely not. The fonts are so thin and small that they get invisible if we pick a colored theme, even recommended. Even the icon disappears, it's impossible to figure out most of the tabs. Please stop deciding what is good for us, give us a choice that we can work out according to our needs!!

Same problem. Removing the bookmarks bars is like removing all the punctuation from a book. That, combined with the tiny gray font makes it much more difficult to switch tabs. I keep 7 or 8 tabs open, and now it takes more time to go where I want to go. FIREFOX - please return the tabs to what worked so well in the past. An option would be to add "TABS" in preferences. "Dividers yes/no" and "Font Preferences -Size, Bold/Regular."
