My question concerns my webmail, create new mail. There are buttons to add an attachment, 1) "from my cloud" 2) "from my PC" in my webmail. The internet browsers 'Google Chrome', 'Microsoft Edge' work correctly. The Internet browser 'Mozilla Firefox' does not show the print key for 2) from my PC!

Hi, I'm not sure what you mean by "print key". I would think that the site would show a "Browse" button (similar to the one below the reply text box on this site) to browse your system and attach a file.

Are you using one of the more common mail sites like Outlook, Yahoo, or Gmail?

Sorry, my mistake: The Internet browser 'Mozilla Firefox' does not show the "attachment-button" 2) from my PC! This problem occurs in Swisscom-Webmail.

If you zoom out (hold down Ctrl and tap the - key once or twice), does the button appear? This is a test to see whether the layout has overflowed causing the button to be hidden.

If not, there are many possible reasons for content to be hidden in a webpage, but I can't think of any reason for that kind of button to be hidden. ??

Could you test in Firefox's Safe/Troubleshoot Mode? In that mode, Firefox temporarily deactivates extensions, hardware acceleration, any userChrome.css/userContent.css files, and some other advanced features to help you assess whether these are causing the problem.

If Firefox is running:

You can restart Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode using either:

  • "3-bar" menu button > Help > Troubleshoot Mode... (before Fx88: Restart with Add-ons Disabled)
  • (menu bar) Help menu > Troubleshoot Mode... (before Fx88: Restart with Add-ons Disabled)

and OK the restart. A small dialog should appear. Click the Open button (before Fx88: "Start in Safe Mode" button).

If Firefox is not running:

Hold down the Shift key when starting Firefox. (On Mac, hold down the option/alt key instead of the Shift key.) A small dialog should appear. Click the Open button (before Fx88: "Start in Safe Mode" button).

Note: Don't use the Refresh without first reviewing this article to understand what will be deleted: Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings.

Any improvement?

Indeed it's a Mozilla Firefox display problem that I don't really understand. If you press ">>" the button for the PC attachment appears, but it does not work. See attachment with screenshots.

Yesterday and now the display of both attachment-buttons is ok. What is the explanation for ?

Why was it messed up for a couple of days? I'm not sure we could figure that out at this point. (I don't think anyone else here has had access to the site.)
