NOTHING MIGRATED. I downloaded the latest Firefox because nothing was working on previous versions, obviously. I tried to see if the updated version would migrate all of my tabs and bookmarks. It even showed me how to access them after I updated it! EVERY TIME I opened the tab of the downloaded new version it was clear that my information from the older versions had not migrated over. I had kept the version with my tabs and bookmarks open to check, just in case.

Then I thought, well, maybe I just need to reboot my computer as a whole.

So I did that.

Guess what?

ALL OF MY BOOKMARKS AND TABS ARE GONE. This is my work computer and I had a significant amount of information I was using. Gone.

HELP! Thank you JenB

Hi browniejen, The new version probably also created a new Profile. You can check to see if your old Profile is still intact -

Enter about:profiles in the address bar and press Enter You should see a Profile name that says "This is the profile in use and it cannot be deleted" There should be others listed, with different Profile names. Below another Profile select "Launch profile in new browser" If that is the one with all of your data - in the first browser window select "Set as default profile" Close the first browser window. (Leaving the newly created Profile won't cause any issues or you can delete it later.)
