Thunderbird is my default mail app. I have tried everything I read on the Internet to get Excel 16 and Word 16 to open Thunderbird instead of Outlook when I email from their programs. Nothing has worked. Please help.

I am not aware of a way to change the hard coded use of outlook in those office apps.

I see in the registry under Local_Machine\Software\clients\Mail\Microsoft Outlook: MSIApplication... Reg_Milti_SZ "Microsoft\Office\16.0\Outlook LastUILanguage" and other mentions of Office in there. Could that be the issue?
