I am a member of a team, which has an email (alias), let's call it team@mycompany.example

Mostly i send email using my personal email me@mycompamy.example, and I also wamt to continue doing so when responding to most emails sent to the team address

However, once in a while I may need to make an announcement using the team@ address as From:

So I set up a second identity using that address

This however now results in TB 102.9.1 (Mac) selecting the team@ address whenever I an replying to email originally sent to team@, which I do not want !! My normal identify me@ is already set as default !

I tried editing my default identify (me@) in Account settings/Manage identities and there

[X] Reply from this identity when delivery headers match: *

which did not help, nor did

[X] Reply from this identity when delivery headers match: *@mycompany.example

Note that the corresponding setting in the team@. identity is *NOT* set !

How can I make TB always select my default identify (me@) and never ever look at the delivery headers? If I want to use a different identity, I will manually choose it!

I suggest you consider doing it this way: - remove the identity - create a second account using the identity as the account id - in the 'reply to' address, set your personal address

Now, when wanting to send as the team, use the team account. responses will go to your personal id.
