mailmerge messages stuck in outbox

I am trying to mailout messages using a mailmerge. The messages are produced and put in outbox. I select 'send unsent' messages but only the first of a batch of around 60 is sent.

Two earlier batches of around 100 worked fine. But at the moment I repeatedly get this frozen mailout situation.

No error messages? The mailing just stops? Since what you posted accounts for 260 messages, there may be a limit with your email provider?
