After the latest release of THunderbird, the default view is showing emails in a thread. I have tried all the recommended solutions I can find and none of them work. How do I unthread?

After the latest release of THunderbird, the default view is showing emails in a thread. I have tried all the recommended solutions I can find and none of them work. How do I unthread?

Chosen solution

Try this: Go to the Menu Bar (if it's not showing, press Alt), click View, then Sort by, and then UNthreaded. Close TBird and start it again. Should be OK.
