Help with IMAP synching my suddenlink email to local folder inbox

I lost my password and had to remove and readded my Suddenlink email, which autodeletes emails past a date and size. I want to have it sync with my local folder inbox only so i can ignore the autodelete off of suddenlinks inbox

Sounds to me like you want POP not IMAP. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/difference-between-imap-and-pop3
