I am unable to print anything when using MAC OSX 10-6.3. Printing works fine in all other programs.
This happened
Every time Firefox opened
== maybe after I installed a Brother printer, but I have uninstalled it and reinstalled Firefox since.

Hi there,
Thanks for your question. This might actually be a problem with your printer and not Firefox. Are you able to print from other applications (such as TextEdit or even Safari)?
Please let me know - thanks! - Sarah
I am able to print text edit, Word files, and while using Safari without any problem. Firefox sends a print cue to the printer, but it spits out a blank page everytime. Thanks.
Hi Philip,
This could be an issue with some corrupt print preferences. In your toolbar go to about:config and reset all of your print.preferences. This could hopefully help!

Thanks, but where would I find this on a MAC ?
See also http://kb.mozillazine.org/Problems_printing_web_pages
To open the about:config page, type about:config in the location (address) bar and press the Enter key, just like you type the url of a website to open a website. If you see a warning then you can confirm that you want to access that page.
I did as you suggested, but I still cant print when in Firefox. I appreciate your help
Hello,
I am using the latest Firefox version on my MacBook (Mac OS X version 10.5.8) and I cannot print anything from the web opened by Firefox. E.g. Word & Safari work fine. I contacted Canon and they suggest I contact you. What is happening?
Best,
Nele

The printer, an HP Laserjet, spits out a blank page. I have no trouble printing when using Safari.
Edit: Didn't realize Philip is the OP!
Philip, I understand that you have reset print settings via about:config. Could you please also make sure that in the Print window, the "Presets" option is set to "Standard". After that, how does print behave?
The preset is set to standard. Thanks
Dear dynamite,
All of the above doesn't help... It is just standard procedure of which I was, using Firefox for almost 4 years, aware... And now, even when I open a PDF attachment in Safari, it downloads it under Firefox, and hence, doesn't let me print what I need...
