Do you mean the Google search bar or the location bar?

With having this problem with trying change my search engine I got a new one. I got a shortcut on my desktop that don't do anything and I can not remove it. Hit delete and says can not find it. Hit properties and go to security and it says information unavailable or can't be displayed. And web document dose not show. Any help on this?
