I think it is some form of malware. Causes an extra Firefox to launch when I launch it, and then advertises random product, one of which is Lovefilm. I have looked online for a solution and while there is a lot of blogging about it, no-one has a fix! Hey-llp!

Not seeing any suspicious plugins or addons in the troubleshooting information you've provided, I want to ask for more information. Is this happening in Firefox's own Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode?

Yes, it does. Just to be sure, I opened FF twice in safe mode. First time the second one advertised Orange phones, and the second time it advertised Lovefilm.

Maybe do a malware scan regardless? Hmm..
