I've had this problem for at least half a year now and have completely uninstalled firefox several times and have no add-ons. Noone at firefox seems to be able to, or want to help fix this problem so I'm done....

I've uninstalled firefox and will start using google crome. You had your chance firefox, and you failed.

The (Google) search bar on the Navigation Toolbar doesn't have a drop down arrow. Are you using code in userChrome.css to add one?
