Hello,

The adobe flash plug-in is still crashing despite my updating Firefox and Adobe Flash to latest versions.

As per instructions at the Adobe forum, I have disable the "enable hardware acceleration". As per instruction at Firefox Support, I have disabled the hang protection - to no avail. The browser still crashes. This never happened before. Any ideas? It's getting impossible to work when Firefox crashes every time. I have provided the latest crash (20 minutes ago).

Thanks in advance,

GAM

You can uninstall and remove the Java Console extensions. You do not need them to run Java applets.

See http://kb.mozillazine.org/Java#Multiple_Java_Console_extensions

You can also disable the Java Quick Starter extension.
See http://www.java.com/en/download/help/quickstarter.xml - What is Java Quick Starter (JQS)? What is the benefit of running JQS? - 6.0

Disable the Java Quick Starter extension: Tools > Addons > Extensions
Control Panel > Java > Advanced tab > Miscellaneous >Java Quick Starter (disable)

Hello,

Thank you for your prompt answer. I did as you suggested. My browser still crashed. Anything else I can do?

Thanks.
