on sites that recognize me as a mobile site, or while using the mobile sites, when I can not zoom I have no problem with beta 1 freezing or force closing. But, the text is fuzzy and will not clear up. While using the regular browser I can not view anything it will freeze.

It also made mobile recovery force close twice today.

The fuzzy text might be related to the freezing problem - it sounds like the text rendering might have locked up before it finished redrawing the text. There are also some known bugs in Firefox that cause text to look bad on Android, for example: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=600103

I am one of the developers of Firefox for Android. We've been working on it for almost a year now, and our first official alpha release was in August. (Thank you for the bug reports and feedback!)

What websites are you visiting? What devices are you using?

Vzw forums, Droid life, I can not even use mozillas site while using Firefox mobile, it will not let me view or do anything without freezing or keeping the text blurry. I can not use it on my phone. I tried to use Firefox mobile to reply to this post and had to pull the battery twice.

I am using Droid 1, I am completely stock. And this occurs on every web site. If Firefox does not freeze on a web page it is on a mobile web page, and when Firefox gets redirected to a mobile, every mobile web page I have been on, the text will stay blurred.

There is a known bug that causes frequent freezes and other problems on the Motorola Droid. This should be fixed in a future version: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=602252

Yes, mbrubeck you answered the freezing part to me the day I posted about that bug. I forgot to say thank you. Thank you for showing me the known bug.

This one is different though. This is while on a mobile web site, when we can not zoom. Go to Droid life on mobile browser, pick mobile theme, the text is blurred and I can not clear it up, the good news is that Firefox does not freeze while on a mobile themed web site.
