I have been trying to reply to emails on my gmail account. I am using Firefox and it keeps showing the loading sign but nothing happens. So it is impossible to reply to emails or to compose them. If I try to use another browser I can reply to my messages and compose them. The problem only seems to occur when I try to use Firefos.

In addition to the Reply function not working, Reply to All and Forward are also not working in Firefox.

Try the Basic HTML mode: http://mail.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?hl=en&ctx=mail&answer=15049

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

  • Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

See Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems and Troubleshoot issues with plugins like Flash or Java to fix common Firefox problems

If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all your extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.

  • Use "Disable all add-ons" on the Safe mode start window to disable all extensions.
  • Close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit")

Switching to Basic HTML mode the Reply, Reply All and Forward functions do work, but I would rather work in Standard mode like I have been.

I also disabled all Add-ons and still the problem exists. I am also using the Default theme.
