When pasting text into my website, miles of unwanted info re the text source, font, etc. appear at beginning. How to prevent?
For example, editing my site this a.m., pasted in the following: What’s Inside: Norris woman named the new superintendent at Big South Fork (see Around Town) ... -- but what appeared was: Version:1.0 StartHTML:0000000292 EndHTML:0000003167 StartFragment:0000002785 EndFragment:0000003131 SourceURL:file://localhost/Users/birdlady/Desktop/1.Frances%20Stuff/1.WritingEditing/2.NorrisColumn/1.MyColumns/2011Norris/1.JanMar2011/1.WebVersions/1.WhatsInside/011211WhatsInside.doc @font-face { font-family: "Times New Roman"; }@font-face { font-family: "TimesNewRomanPSMT"; }p.MsoNormal, li.MsoNormal, div.MsoNormal { margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt; font-size: 12pt; font-family: "Times New Roman"; }table.MsoNormalTable { font-size: 10pt; font-family: "Times New Roman"; }div.Section1 { page: Section1; } What’s Inside: Norris woman named the new superintendent at Big South Fork (see Around Town) ...

Use a plain text editor that doesn't place that extra formatting data on the clipboard to prepare your messages
