Before I upgraded to ff5, a triple click of my my mouse would select the whole line (Or paragraph). I use this function hundreds of times a day at my job.

When my office pushed FF5 to us, I lost this ability. I can now only double-click. Triple click still works in IE and other areas, but no longer with FF. How do I restore that functionality?

See:

To open the about:config page, type about:config in the location (address) bar and press the "Enter" key, just like you type the url of a website to open a website.
If you see a warning then you can confirm that you want to access that page.

  • Use the Filter bar at to top of the about:config page to locate a preference more easily.
  • Preferences that have been modified show as bold(user set).
  • Preferences can be reset to the default or changed via the right-click context menu.

i think i've got the same problem on my win7 laptop.though the triple click function is not gone i have to click very fast to make it work and it only works half the times.double clicking requires normal speed.and triple clicking is fine on chrome and ie9.i don't have the problem on my win xp desktop with the same firefox version(5.0.1) and no the settings in about:config are not the issue

Me = sad because:

browser.triple_click_selects_paragraph;true

It's already set to on, but still not working.

I think it's a full-fledged bug.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Running default theme and running in safe mode: Same issue. Triple click just is not working for me.
