While trying to download files, FF crashed and now my computer won't even start!!! Help!

I was downloading a number of files from email, and FF crashed. My computer then went black, and now it won't even start, nor is it even juicing up. Did FF completely annihilate my computer???

Not possible, your computer just took a hose dive.

I would be sure all my cables are connected and working properly.
