There's a web site that won't work with any new version of Firefox released since June 2008? Are they serious? Because version 2 is not secure, it is not recommended for general use on the web. If you trust the one site and want to visit it in Firefox 2, try the "portable" version that you can run from a USB flash drive without interfering with your main installation.
