I am unable to start Firefox, either normally or in Safe Mode. When I attempt to run the program, I am getting the Crash Reporter. After the report is submitted, and the attempt is made to restart Firefox, I keep getting the Crash Reported screen again and again.

The precipitant to this was a System Restore that rolled my system back 24 hours, due to problems I was having with a system file update that Sony VAIO update installed. Because I was having problems with the VAIO update, I ran Windows System Restore and everything was returned to normal, except Firefox. I simply can't restart it, no matter what I do. Thanks in advance for your help.
