Upgrade does not have new features
On a new desktop I am building out, I installed Firefox. I noticed that on my current desktop, the large back button doesn't appear. It does appear on the the new machine.
On Google, the new machine has Google telling me about the new interface. On the old machine, no change.
Both machines are running Firefox 9.0.1
The only difference is that the older machine had it installed through the upgrade process, where the new one was a clean install of the newer version.
I've run Firefox Set-up (9.0.1) on the older machine and it didn't change it. All the settings I can find on Firefox and Google are the same.
Somehow, not all the features of the new Firefox are getting installed during the upgrade.
Chosen solution
Hi,
Please try this: right-click on the + after the last tab and Customize. Alternatively via View (Alt + V) > Toolbars. If Use small icons is enabled, the large back button will appear small. If the back button is missing you can look for it by moving the toolbars around with the Customize mini window open. You can also try to Restore Default Set, which will hopefully restore the default settings back, but please note that this would also reset all manual changes/customizations and you would redo personal settings.

Awesome. Perfect. I thought it was a bigger problem because of the Google connection. But it's all good now! Thank you.
You are welcome :)
