After updating from firefox-stable repo for ubuntu lucid,the new firefox 10 always crashes when i open it.

This behavior is also shown in safe-mode, Tried following things:- 1.Re-installing. 2.Removing profile to other position. Now error is like "Firefox is already running, but is not responding. To open a new window, you must first close the existing Firefox process, or restart your system." Restarted but same message is displayed again.

Problem solved.I removed mozillateam/stable repo from my sources list.Then removed firefox using 'apt-get remove firefox' and then installed firefox after a restart.Also removed '.mozilla' folder in my home directory which was probably the root of this problem.Now replaced my previous profile FF 10 woking great.

Problem solved.I removed mozillateam/stable repo from my sources list.Then removed firefox using 'apt-get remove firefox' and then installed firefox after a restart.Also removed '.mozilla' folder in my home directory which was probably the root of this problem.Now replaced my previous profile FF 10 woking great.
