I'm unable to print web pages that have an on screen print icon/button (for example my google calendar) from Fire Fox. When I press the print icon within the Calendar (or other web pages), the print preview page appears, I then press the on screen print icon/button and nothing happens. I’ve also tried file - print from the toolbar and still nothing. If I use IE on the same web page it will print no problem…. I’ve been doing a print screen and copying to word or just using IE as a work around.

So, I'm just confirming, but you are ale to print with other printers, and the printer you are trying to print with from inside Firefox is the correct printer (for example, it didn't get set to the XPS writer instead of your printer)? I just wanted to confirm that.

There a two articles I'm going to ask you to look over and try the steps. The first is related to Firefox printing problems (Firefox prints incorrectly) and has some troubleshooting steps you can follow.

The second is just a more general Firefox printing article (Printing a web page) and probably won't be too much use to you, I wanted to ensure you had it as a reference though.

Another thing to try is to update Firefox to version 11, which does have some minor bug fixes and major security fixes.

The printer is fine prints from IE no prob. I followed the articles you supplied no luck. How do I get the update to ver 11 ?

Wait _ went to Help about and I am running ver 11

Ok, so you reset all Printer settings as stated in the article and restarted firefox? Ok then, let's try this. Start Firefox in Safe Mode and we can see if it works there.

Alright then, one more step. Create a fresh new testing profile (instructions are at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/Managing-profiles) and let's see if it works there.

I will have to continue this later - I have meeting(s) to go to
