I am unable to install any extensions since going to version 13. Ive tried just about everything. Safe mode, uninstall, reinstall, deleting my profile etc. Each time all I get is a certificate error. Even if I go to the Mozilla add-ons site its blocked by a certificate error.

Using the portable version of Firefox does the same thing. Has anyone ever seen this before?

Here is an example of what I see.

ok, other eset users have reported similar issues - disable ssl scanning as it is described here: https://support.mozilla.org/de/questions/790114#answer-339989

hello trooper27, which error code is shown when you click on technical details & what kind of security software are you using on your system?

Hi,

I guess the picture did not work. The error I get is: This Connection is Untrusted, services.addons.mozilla.org. At the bottom it states: Technical Details

services.addons.mozilla.org uses an invalid security certificate.

The certificate is not trusted because no issuer chain was provided.

(Error code: sec_error_unknown_issuer)

I am using Eset Smart Security. 5.2.9.1 and Webroot Secure Anywhere version 8.0.1.193
