EVERY TIME I TRY TO UPDATE FLASH IT TELLS ME I DO NOT HAVE SUFFICIENT PRIVILEDGES. I am the only administrator. It has deleted itself from Firefox (13.0.1).

I have tried 6 times to install with same messages. I even tried this suggestion: try to run the Flash installer after having saved the file to the desktop as Administrator via the right-click context menu: Run as > Administrator. Problem is it does not give me a choice to select administrator it has current user selected (Windows XP). What I have found in the past that it may take 2 dozen tries and hours of trying to finally get it to take even though it still gives me the same message. Can anyone help me make this process simpler? Right now I am without Flash.
