There is no way for me to stop reloading the page on my Firefox 15.0. Why not?

Do I have something wrong with my Firefox, or after going to customize the toolbar, why isn't there one to stop reloading the page? When the small window pops up for "customize", there is an "X" after the address bar, as soon as I finish with the "customize" window, it goes away! Will I need to back up my bookmarks and then try another installation without using the old Firefox settings?

Thanks, but the "X" would not appear....tried everything but must have lost the connection with a registry cleaner or something of that nature....Finally just uninstalled and let Firefox reinstall without any pieces of the old one...It's working ok now...

The "x" (Stop) icon shares space with the reload and go icons, all at the right end of the address box. If you see the reload arrow, then the page has completed loading. Otherwise, you should see the "x" there.

If that's not working or you prefer to have the buttons outside, when in the Customize mode, switch the order so that "x" is before reload. This will prevent them from recombining and keep them outside the address box.

Or you can hit the ESC key as well :)
