nothing but firefox can see flash 10.3
I recently downgraded to flash 10.3 but now nothing on my computer is detecting flash player. is there a way to have both versions of flash but have firefox only use 10.3? i'd already tried installing the latest version of flash again but it made firefox run VERY SLOWLY until i realized firefox was trying to use both versions of flash at once.

Not sure I understand about Firefox trying to use both versions of Flash.
You appear to be using Windows Vista and so I imagine you will have Internet Explorer (IE) installed by default. IE uses a completely different Flash Player and that may have a different version number from the one installed on Firefox.
Possibly you have inadvertently tried to install the IE version of Flash 10.3
- Check IE and ensure it has the updated Flash Player installed. Make sure it is the IE version.
see http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/installation-problems-flash-player-windows.html - Try to install the correct and latest version of Flash Player in Firefox, this time ensure it is the Firefox version installed

can i change that no to a yes... your reply was helpful... indirectly.
solution
go thru internet explorer to install up-to-date flash instead of just going to adobe website and dl'ing install like normal.
Glad you fixed it. It is important to realise the Flash player differs for Firefox and IE
Using this link you may confirm your OS and then specify whether it is the Firefox or the IE version that you need:
Ordinarily if you visit the Adobe site it will try to offer the version that matches the browser you are using.
