20.0.1 (newest) pauses downloads when window is closed. keep cancelling my pron files by accident. where do i set "browser.download.manager.quitBehavior"?

more options

-have the newest version 20.0.1 -it pauses downloads when I close the browser window -can't restart downloads from sites like rapidgator, ryushare etc -keep cancelling my pron downloads by accident -very annoying -how/where do I set the browser.download.manager.quitBehavior value?

The new version is fine but I don't know why you would make that change. It makes no sense coming from Firefox because I believe it was you guys who introduced the download manager window. Anyone who uses Firefox knows that when you close the window, the downloads remain...at least up until now. Perhaps an option during installation?

I, along with others I know switched back to Firefox from Chrome because of latency issues but I'm sure a lot of your users went back to Chrome or god forbid IE because of this issue.

Chosen solution

You can set the browser.download.manager.quitBehavior pref to 2 on the about:config page.

That will make Firefox ask for confirmation if you want to cancel the download when you close Firefox.

Just set it to "2". Prompts me to cancel download or keep my window open now. Thanks Cor-el.
