Thank you for your support Waka_Flocka_Flame! I can add that the problem is not only video related. After two minutes of normal borwsing, the CPU reaches 100% and stays at 100%. However, here are the information you requested, and again, thank you for your support!

Are you still having these problems ?

You say it is not video related.

Have you tried in Firefox's safemode and with all plugins disabled ?

• Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode
• Disable or remove Add-ons_how-to-disable-plugins

Does it then still stay at 100% after two minutes browsing ?

That must make Firefox very difficult to use.

I found the culprit. It's DownloadHelper. Uninstalled and everything works again. Sorry for the inconvenience, it was not a Firefox issue.

john99, thanks for putting me in the right way for troubleshooting this problem (now solved).

In my personal setup, DownloadHelper causes the issues starting from firefox v27 and above.
