I would like to eliminate all filters and begin anew. What file/folder do I need to delete?

Filters are not working correctly and I have reconfigured several individual filters to try to get them to work. I am willing to restart from scratch but do not want to delete 40-50 filters individually if there is a folder I can easily access and delete.

Chosen solution

you clearly have not located all instances of msgFilterRules.dat.

Close Thunderbird, find your profile and look for files named msgFilterRules.dat.

There will be one for each email account that has had filters set up.

I have found all four profiles and marked all four as "dat.old"

The filters still show up. Do I actually delete the folders/files?

Thanks. I copied all msgFilterRules.dat files, then deleted them. I have started over, but find that some of the filters still do not work as they used to work. I'm still working - slowly - on trying to find a solution. The solution may end up being to abandon my good friend Eudora/Thunderbird for something else.
