Hi,

There is an option called "browser.link.open_newwindow" which when set to 2 should open links, that would normally open in a new window, in a new window. See http://kb.mozillazine.org/Browser.link.open_newwindow.

I can't think of an add-on that will do this for you. You can always right click on the link and choose "Open Link in new Window" :-).

You can also hold down the Shift key and left-click a link to open the link in a new window.
